Our Hives
Names aside our Buckfast bees are housed in modern National bee hives, which promote a sustainable and hygienic environment for our colonies to thrive. These hives allow us to support and care for these incredible, hardworking pollinators whilst benefitting from the surplus honey they instinctively produce.
Buckfast Bees have a delightful history, originating from Buckfast Abbey in Devon they are known for their calm temperament and wonderful honey.
Our Honey
Nestled between county lines of Rutland, Leicestershire & Lincolnshire, our hard working bees forage a rich and diverse source of pollen and nectar.
Benefiting from local woodland, parkland and the countryside beyond, our bees collect a variety of pollen and nectar from wild flowers, grassland and trees resulting in a truly superior honey.
Honey has been a celebrated, natural food source for centuries due to its incredible health benefits. Being a high source of bioavailable vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Our Product
